The Sugar Freedom Finale!

The Sugar Freedom Finale!

Time to celebrate!

Sugar Freedom Week 8 Day 7

It’s finally here! The last day of the Sugar Freedom challenge!

It feels like New Year’s Eve in my apartment right now. I have popcorn popped and seasoned with lemon zest, ground ginger, ground green tea leaves, and salt (another AWESOME recipe from my birthday Popcorn book!), tonic water chilling in the fridge, and the Vimeogreatest hits playlist bumping on the Apple…

Stuck on Sunflower Seeds

Stuck on Sunflower Seeds

Sugar Freedom Week 8 Day 6

Learning Low Glycemic Lingo

The last and final challenge!

Sugar Freedom Week 8 Days 2 & 3

I finally learned what “limited fruit intake” means. After I ate a banana (wrong move).

This sign greeted me when I got to Farmgirlfit this morning. Apparently we’re sticking to fruits on the low glycemic foods list: cherries, plums, grapefruit, peaches, apples, pears, grapes, and oranges.

The last and final challenge!

Unfortunately, bananas are a medium glycemic…
